•  A Hands-On Workshop with practical Laptop Work
•  Work in small Teams on selected Quality Oversight Use Cases

Target Group

Professionals in the pharmaceutical industriy who want to explore and develop practical applications of artificial intelligence (AI) for GMP compliance and Quality Oversight.

Objectives

Learning Objectives

By the end of the workshop, participants will be able to:
  • develop an AI project from an initial idea to a practical proof of concept and a viable project to be used for Quality Oversight
  • apply practical principles for responsible interaction with AI systems
  • distinguish between prompts, skills, agents and multi-agent approaches
  • select an appropriate AI tool or workflow structure

Programme

Content

This highly practical workshop combines foundations for the use of artificial intelligence (AI) with guided, hands-on development work. Participants will work in small teams on selected Quality Oversight use cases and develop an initial proof of concept using contemporary AI tools and agentic coding approaches.
The toolset will be confirmed closer to the event, taking into account the state of the art in agentic coding, agentic engineering and related approaches at that time.
  • GMP and the legal framework for AI use
  • Working effectively with modern AI systems
  • Laptop and account setup, introduction
  • Build it. Test it. Use it. - A practical AI Workshop for GMP Compliance & Quality Oversight
  • Presentations of the workshop projects
  • Closing 1: What did we learn? (moderated discussion)
  • Closing 2: From proof of concept to pilot and Minimum Viable Product (MVP)
Participant Involvement and Preparation

The workshop is suitable for participants who are interested in translating an operational challenge into practical AI applications. No programming experience is required. However, participants should be willing to work actively with AI tools on a laptop and contribute to a small-team project.

Participants will benefit most if they bring a concrete Quality Oversight challenge or application idea. Participants are invited to send in the following before the event:
  • one or more ideas for a practical AI application in Quality Oversight;
  • a short description of the problem, target users and expected benefit;
  • anonymised datasets where permitted and available;
  • relevant examples of documents or records, provided that their use is approved;
If suitable data cannot be provided, the workshop will use synthetic datasets and example materials prepared in advance.
