Qualification and Validation in an uncertain analytical world – a holistic approach
As reported in March, a proposed revision of the existing USP Chapter <1058> Analytical Instrument Qualification has been published for comments in the Pharmacopeial Forum, PF 51(2). The informational chapter provides general guidance in a scientific, risk-based approach for carrying out an analytical instrument and system qualification (AISQ).
In this context, Dr Christopher Burgess, Chairman of the ECA Analytical Quality Control Group (AQCG), and USP GCCA Expert Committee Member, will present a one-hour webinar organized and carried out by USP Education.
This Live Webcast, "Enhancement of General Chapter Analytical Instruments and Systems Qualification; a full lifecycle approach", is scheduled for 10 June 2025.
The topics covered are:
- Rational and Goals of the Revision Proposal
- Support of USP <1220> Analytical Procedures Lifecycle
- “Fitness for Intended Use” of Analytical Instruments and systems
