Serialization: Update on Improvements of the European Medicines Verification System
The second major EU Hub release (1.10) is expected to go live by end of the year. Inter alia, it will address batch distribution issues caused by Onboarding Partners' (OBPs) transactions. This change will result in two new special types of alerts forwarded to the OBPs requiring adaptation of the OBP's alert management system.
Furthermore preparation of the EU HUB to interact with the pan-European Alert Management System (AMS) is currently under development and foreseen to be available in the course of 2022. The objective of the AMS is to allow for a more efficient handling of alerts through the possibility to share information that will support investigation.
