First Live Online Pharma Congress great Success

The Pharma Congress has a long tradition: this year, this largest meeting of its kind in the pharmaceutical industry was to be held for the 22nd time - and with its parallel conference tracks, the annual social event and the PharmaTechnica exhibition with almost 90 exhibitors, it was again supposed to bring together national and international participants, speakers, exhibitors and trade visitors for professional exchange. However, the Corona pandemic with rapidly increasing infection figures worldwide made it clear that a congress of this magnitude would not be feasible on site.

To still enable participants to benefit from the personal exchange and to provide exhibitors with a platform for presenting their latest products and services, the Congress with Conferences and PharmaTechnica were moved to September and transferred to the Internet - with great success. A total of 850 participants and visitors logged on to the live online conferences and to visit the virtual exhibition PharmaTechnica. Many of them also participated in the specially created PharmaTechnica Forum on the third day, where exhibitors were able to explain the latest developments in pharmaceutical technology and production in presentations.
