Meet the GDPA Board Members at the GDP Forum in Barcelona

As many of you know, ECA members have long appreciated the dedicated biennial conferences focused on GMP and GDP. Since 2021, we have combined these two into a unique event, bringing together the European GMP Conference and the European GDP Forum.

GMP & GDP Forum 2025

This year's European GMP & GDP Forum will take place from 24 to 26 June 2025 in Barcelona, Spain. The first half of the event will focus on GMP topics, the second half on GDP. You have the flexibility to attend only the GMP Forum, only the GDP Forum, or participate in the full three-day program.

We are also pleased to invite all participants and speakers to our social events, providing a relaxed atmosphere for networking, exchanging ideas, and making new professional connections.

The European GDP Association

The European GDP Association (GDPA) represents more than 4,200 professionals from across the globe. Its primary role is to support wholesalers and manufacturers placing human medicinal product on the market in the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom (or distributing from these locations) in complying with the requirements of the EU GDP Guidelines (2013/C 343/01) and relevant legislation. The Association also assists entities distributing human medicinal products from outside of Europe, along with stakeholders distributing clinical trial material and veterinary medicinal products both within Europe and worldwide.

GDPA Board Members on the GDP Forum

The Members of the GDPA's Board of Directors and the Authority Advisory Board will take part in this year's GDP Forum:

• Alfred Hunt from Hunt Pharma Solutions, Ireland, who is the Chair of the GDPA, will give a "GDP Update & Outlook". He will cover major GDP developments of the last few months, and current trends in Europe and the US.
• Emil Schwan from the Swedish Medical Products Agency, Sweden will give a talk about "GDP Inspection Findings and Recent Trends".
• Sue Mann from Sue Mann Consultancy, UK will give a presentation entitled "Managing a GDP Inspection to Maximise the Chance of Success". She will cover specific roles throughout the inspection and will discuss how to ensure the regulatory authority accepts your responses.
• Dr Daniel Müller from the GMP Inspectorate Tuebingen, Germany will give a presentation on "Human and veterinary GDP regulations within the EU - are they really the same?"
• Saddam Huq from GSK, UK has prepared a Case Study on "Setting up a Logistics Network Hub – to enable Sea-Freight".
