European GDP Association nominates new Board Member
The European GDP Association, representing more than 2.200 professionals from across the globe, has extended its Board. Emil Schwan was invited to join the Board and accepted his nomination.
Emil Schwan worked as a Pharmaceutical Inspector at the Drug Inspectorate of the Swedish Medical Products Agency (MPA). He holds a MSc. in pharmacy from Uppsala University and worked as a technical advisor for ACO HUD and as a product developer for Orexo before joining the MPA.
From 2017 until May 2020 Emil Schwan was a Member of the GDP Association Authority Advisory Board. As part of this Board he was not part of the legal structure. The Advisory Board Members support the GDP Working Group on a case by case decision and not for all of its activities.
After 8 years working for the MPA, Emil Schwan decided to leave the agency. He is now working as a Senior Consultant for RegSmart Life Science AB.
"This is a great opportunity for us to have Emil in our team as a Board Member to help us to develop our future plans and deliver objectives in helping the colleagues in pharma industry. I look forward to working with Emil" said Dr Afshin Hosseiny, GDP Association Advisory Board Chairman.
