EDQM issues monthly CEP Report
Recommendation

18 June 2026
Regulatory framework, interfaces and practical implications
Also in September 2022, the EDQM (European Directorate for the Quality of Medicines & HealthCare) has prepared its "CERTIFICATION MONTHLY REPORT" on the topic of "CEPs" (Certificate of Suitability of Monographs of the European Pharmacopoeia) and has now published it in the newsroom of the EDQM website. This report gives an overview of the number of new and revised CEPs as well as reports on withdrawn and expired CEPs. In this context, the data of the whole year 2022 and especially the September data are always compared.
In addition, the number of inspections carried out by the EDQM is presented in an overview, whereby on-site inspections and remote inspections are listed separately. This clearly shows that on-site inspections increased again in September, especially in the year-by-year comparison.
Here you can find the latest version of the "CERTIFICATION MONTHLY REPORT" - and further information on the EDQM website.
