Board Developments
A Board meeting was held in a hybrid format at the PharmaCongress in Wiesbaden, Germany, in March. The next meeting is scheduled for November.
Dr Martin Hildebrandt stepped down from the Board. Dr Julian Thimm from DKFZ in Heidelberg was welcomed as a new member.
Guideline Developments
The ATMP Board published the position paper “Reflections on specifications for ATMPs, considering patient-centricity” in March and presented and discussed it during PharmaCongress 2026. The position paper is freely accessible and can be downloaded free of charge by members.
Miscellaneous
The Group (via Dr Hauck) is cooperating with the Pharmaceutical Microbiology Group, EQPA, and the ECA Board on comments for a new chapter on phages.
