Do you know about QPSHARE?

As well as appropriate educational material, the European QP Association is committed to providing practical tools for QPs in order to help them with their daily responsibilities. One such tool is QPSHARE, which all members can access for free by logging into the EQPA website and looking under "Services".

You will find a number of Q&As on QPSHARE, what it is and how it works as well as access to the database, which forms the core of the tool.
In summary, QPSHARE is a database into which EQPA members can add a list of suppliers that their organisation is interested in auditing.  The idea is that other members are able to identify companies of common interest and the tool is simply a way to bring members together with a view to some form of audit collaboration.  Typically, these suppliers would be active substance suppliers as there is a legal obligation for manufacturing authorisation holders to audit them and QPs have a critical interest given they ultimately sign declarations based on those audits.  However, there is no reason why the tool could not be used for other types of supplier.

Such audit collaboration is recognised by regulators as a pragmatic solution to overwhelming suppliers with multiple, mostly identical audits.  There are of course regulatory expectations to be borne in mind and these can be found under a number of Q&As on audits on EMA's website.

QPSHARE is therefore intended to support audit collaboration, be it joint audits or audits contracted out to another party, in line with the GMP expectations. QPSHARE is not a platform for buying and selling of audit reports, which the EQPA considers to be serious non-compliance.
