CEP Report of the EDQM
Recommendation

28/29 April 2026
From QbD to Process Validation
In October 2022, the EDQM (European Directorate for the Quality of Medicines & HealthCare) has again prepared its "CERTIFICATION MONTHLY REPORT" on "CEPs" (Certificate of Suitability of Monographs of the European Pharmacopoeia) and has now published it in the newsroom of the EDQM website. In addition to the number of new CEPs and CEP revisions, the report also includes information on withdrawn and expired CEPs. The data of the whole year 2022 and especially the October data are always compared.
In addition, the number of inspections conducted by the EDQM is presented in an overview, with on-site and remote inspections listed separately. This clearly shows that only on-site inspections were carried out in October. This means that in a year-on-year comparison, the number of remote and on-site inspections are now almost the same.
Here you can find the latest version of the "CERTIFICATION MONTHLY REPORT" and further information on the EDQM website.
