 The Qualified Person Association was founded on 7 July 2006 with the
objective to represent the Qualified Persons in Europe.
The responsibilities and the tasks of a Qualified Person in Europe are
unique.
This is why Qualified Persons in Europe need a forum. This Association
offers to its members:
Regular exchange with other Qualified Persons
Opportunity to discuss current regulatory questions with representatives
from European Authorities (e.g. EMEA).
The Advisory Board Members of the European Compliance Academy (ECA)
decided to establish this unique Association.
The inaugural QP Forum was held in Prague, Czech Republic, from 30 November to 1 December 2006. More than 150 delegates from 26 countries attended to be part of this first meeting of European Qualified Persons. The goal of the first meeting was to establish a platform for sharing experience and discussing the critical areas of the QP's daily work as well as roles and responsibilities of the QP with representatives from EMEA and national authorities.
The 3rd QP Forum will be held in Munich on 4-5 December 2008
(with 3 Pre-Conference Workshops on 3 December).
