A new feature of the CD are the guidelines of the Global Harmonisation
Task Force, which has also consented to the publication of its guidelines
on the CD.
In order to improve navigation, the user interface has been redesigned.
It is the central starting point for the structured search:
As in the preceding CD versions, it is possible to choose between the
full-text search in a single document or in all documents. Especially the
full-text search in all documents provides you in a matter of seconds with
information that no other tool will compile for you in such a way. An
example: If you enter "process validation," you will get a list
of all guidelines containing this term, no matter which of the above
organisations has published it. In case you wanted to get the same results
by searching the Internet, you would have to search the websites of these
organisations one by one and to pick out the GMP-relevant results of each
site. The GMP Navigator on CD-ROM does all of this for you.
We have added an extra for you: Apart from the guidelines, this release
also contains presentations, e.g. by FDA Inspectors.
As in the past, we will distribute the CD-ROM free of charge at every
ECA event. For copyright reasons, we are not allowed to sell neither
individual CD-ROMs nor network versions.
