Please let us know whether it is required to identify Coloring Agents in Tablets by Chemical Method, where Colour is added in Coating Solution? We are testing Coloring Agent as such before use however it is difficult to identify the same in Tablets by the same method used for analysis of Coloring Agent.As such use of coloring agents is to distinguish the tablets and hence visual inspecion serves the purpose.What is more important is to have uniform colour which can be easily evaluated by visual inspection. Please send your comments on the same.
