Calibration of scales during filling of sterile product Contribution from SN written on 8/21/2010 at 10:40
I am looking for information with regard to the calibration of scales before and during filling of sterile product into vials. The line being used does not have automated calibration, therefore the scales must be calibrated manually. Currently on another line calibration (automated) is performed every 15 minutes. Concerns around the manual calibration include; manual intervention - not feasible every 15 minutes, if required to be comparible with existing line. Storage of weights - isolated line which is VHPd - effect of residue on calibrated weights? Where to store some very small weights in the isolator? If anyone has any thoughts on these queries they would be much appreciated. Answers to this contribution:
