What you said could be discussed, certainly but one thing that you could know is that "good sense" is not always the leading tool when discussing about regulatory and good manufacturing practices.
There is often another point of view quite widely used in the regulatory world : can you do it (from a technological point of view)? Yes ? So, do it !
